Each element has its own Elemental Potion that your creature can find/buy and during additions can drink it to gain their elemental abilities. Each element also has their own attacks. These can be found or bought at sales and can be tought to your creature after it has received its element. The Elemental Attacks are given in little orbs to enchant the creature with the new attack. The patch you are given when additions are given signifies that the creature has been certified in that attack and can now use it on the Battlefield.
